Curtin University Dean of Global Futures Joe Siracusa says the Democratic National Convention will be a “hotspot” for over 30,000 protesters.

US Vice-President Kamala Harris will accept her party’s nomination for president at the Democratic National Convention this week.

“It’s going to be a hotspot,” Mr Siracusa told Sky News Australia.

“There are probably 30,000 to 40,000 protesters there and most of them are aimed against the war in Gaza.”
