Foreign Minister discusses US plan to ban Chinese-made EVs

Foreign Minister Penny Wong joined Sky News Australia to discuss America’s plans to ban Chinese-made electric vehicles.

Her remarks come as the US said it is set to ban certain Chinese electric vehicles from their country because they can be remotely operated in a war situation.

“We will continue to discuss this with the United States,” Ms Wong told Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

“We will continue to take advice from our security agencies about this and about all other matters.”
