La fractura ha sembrado el caos en Culiacán, la capital del Estado del noroeste de México, y en varias comunidades aledañas, dejando una estela de asesinatos, desapariciones forzadas, narcobloqueos y enfrentamientos entre los grupos delictivos y las Fuerzas Armadas. Atrapada en el fuego cruzado, la población se ha hundido en el miedo y la incertidumbre, pese a la insistencia del Gobierno de que “todo está tranquilo” y bajo control. Las autoridades han reconocido esta semana al menos 12 personas asesinadas, otra decena de lesionados por impacto de bala y una veintena de desaparecidos, pero han sostenido que la violencia está “focalizada” y afecta principalmente a los bandos que se disputan el principal bastión del Cartel de Sinaloa.
