The Witcher Season 4 Replaces Another Major Character

The Witcher season 4 has recast another major role with a star from The Lord of the Rings ahead of the fantasy action show’s return on Netflix. The Witcher season 4 will feature a core change to the TV show adaptation’s cast, with Liam Hemsworth replacing Henry Cavill as Geralt. It’s also been confirmed as the show’s second-to-last season.

Now, Entertainment Weekly reports that The Witcher season 4 will see Peter Mullan take on the role of Vesemir moving forward. The monster hunter, who acts as a father figure to Geralt, was previously played by Kim Bodnia starting from season 2. It was previously reported Bodina would not be coming back for season 4, with Mullan’s casting now confirmed.
