The Dutton Ranch Adds Oscar Nominee To Yellowstone Spinoff

Beth and Rip’s upcoming Yellowstone spinoff, The Dutton Ranch, expands its cast with a four-time Oscar nominee joining the series’ returning stars. The Dutton Ranch spinoff takes place after the original series, focusing on Beth and Rip living on their new ranch while raising Carter. The show will include new characters as well, such as Annette Bening’s rancher Beulah Jackson.

Now, Variety has confirmed Ed Harris is joining The Dutton Ranch, portraying a character named Everett McKinney in the Yellowstone spinoff. The four-time Oscar nominee’s character is described as a good-humored veterinarian, as well as a veteran. It’s unclear what his larger role in the story set to unfold is going to be, other than involvement with Beth and Rip.
