Per Netflix’s YouTube channel, the trailer for The Diplomat season 3 sees Allison Janney’s deeply flawed Vice President, Grace Penn, taking over following the President’s death. Keri Russell’s veteran diplomat Kate Wyler states, “The President is about to do something that is apocalyptically dumb,” setting the scene for more explosive drama, action, and potential catastrophe.
