Neil Druckmann finally spoke out about his shocking exit from HBO’s The Last of Us ahead of season 3.
Druckmann spoke to Variety about the reasons why he left The Last of Us. He was very involved in the show at the beginning, but now “the path has been set,” so he feels comfortable stepping back and going back to working on video games full-time. He found it difficult to be a co-showrunner while also working on video games simultaneously.
