Kasie’s Arc In NCIS Season 23 Could Lead To LGBTQ+ Romance
NCIS season 23 is setting up a major character arc, and it could lead to an unexpected series relationship. The NCIS franchise has never shied away from romances, but one forensic scientist has never experienced a romantic arc. However, now that NCIS season 23 is setting up a personal arc for Kasie, she might finally get the romance she deserves.
The NCIS characters will seemingly each have their own major moment in the upcoming season, and Kasie is no different. While Kasie has often been overlooked as a member of the MCRT, NCIS season 23 will finally give her a moment to shine. It may even add to her personal life in a romantic way.
Kasie’s Tense NCIS Season 23 Episode Could Lead To Her Own Romantic Arc
Kasie will have a dedicated arc in NCIS season 23 for what seems like the first time in forever. According to TV Insider, her arc will involve being targeted for something she has created. Kasie is a technical genius, and her skills provide an amazing backdrop for intense storylines, something NCIS has ignored for far too long.
More than that, however, there is potential for an even bigger storyline to happen within her season arc. Kasie’s story in NCIS season 23 could lead to her developing her own romantic arc as well. The characters and dilemmas introduced in her season 23 storyline could lead to Kasie meeting a romantic partner in an unusual way.
Kasie has had a romantic partner before, but it was so brief that it was mostly an off-screen relationship. In NCIS season 19, she started dating her girlfriend, Piper. However, as of NCIS season 20, the two had broken up. Since then, Kasie has not had any romantic relationships, but her new arc gives her the perfect chance for one.
A Kasie Romance Would Work Towards Improving NCIS’ LGBTQ+ Representation
Kasie is already an interesting character with a lot of unique traits, but showing her having a complex relationship would also go far in establishing her as a complex character. We have seen Kasie at work, solving cases, and in highly stressful situations. But we still haven’t seen her in an emotionally charged relationship, like a romantic one.
In addition, a Kasie romance in NCIS season 23 would go far in improving NCIS‘ limited LGBTQ+ representation. While the franchise has had a few romantic pairs, they haven’t had any recently. As such, showing Kasie in a complex relationship as a multifaceted character would go far in showing she is more than just an archetype.
