The trailer for Fire Country season 4 confirms a major character death. Fire Country season 3 ended with two separate shocks, with the unexpected announcement that two fan-favorite cast members would be leaving the popular CBS series.
Billy Burke, who plays the father of Bode (Max Thieriot), is one of the major cast exits. His character, Vince, sees his fate hanging in the balance. Stephanie Arcila, who plays Gabriela, is also leaving as a series regular. However, Gabriela will still be there for one of Bode’s darkest moments.
The premiere of Fire Country season 4 is just weeks away, returning to CBS on Friday, October 17 at 8 PM ET, with the trailer confirming that Vince has died. In the minute-long preview, Bode and Vince’s wife, Sharon (Diane Farr), are both unraveling and struggling to face their new reality. Check out the trailer below:
What Vince’s Death Means For Fire Country Season 4
The massive change in the Fire Country cast is evident just in the quick preview. Bode looks about ready to come to blows with Jake (Jordan Calloway), an anger that has more to do with the loss he just experienced. The loss is made worse because, as we see in the trailer, Bode still bears a significant amount of blame for what happened.
Sharon isn’t faring much better. In the trailer, she wishes that she were the one who was taken. Although it’s hard to know how much she really means that without seeing the full episode, it’s clear that Vince’s absence is something that will linger on the firefighting drama for more a good while.
More to come…
