Taylor Swift’s Upcoming Film And 24/7 Radio Channel: What to Expect

What a month it’s been for Taylor Swift. Not only did she announce her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, on Travis and Jason Kelce’s podcast, New Heights, she and Travis got engaged. Now, there’s a massive project that she’s about to release, and there’s another treat for her fans on top of that.

Swift will be heading back to the big screen for a film project that’s related to The Life of a Showgirl, although it hasn’t been reported what it’ll consist of. One thing that’s known, though, before it’s even released, it’ll draw huge numbers, similar to her 2023 documentary, The Eras Tour, which has become the biggest concert film ever.

Swift has yet to confirm the release date of the movie event, but the album drops on Friday, October 3, and insiders say it’ll arrive on that same weekend.

A 24/7 Taylor Swift Radio Station

Even though Swift already dominates Spotify, with over 87 million monthly listeners, fans can also hear her music on SiriusXM’s Channel 13 all day and night if they choose. On Thursday, the broadcaster announced the channel will play music from Swift’s catalog 24-hours a day, seven days a week, for one month, beginning September 20 and ending on October 19.

Then, once The Life of a Showgirl is released, the channel will play all 12 songs from the album every other hour. Fans will also be heard on the station talking about why they love Swift and her music, while sharing stories.

As Swifties know, the number 13 has great significance for the pop star, as it’s her favorite number, partially because she was born on December 13, 1989.

She also wrote 13 on the back of her hand in 2009 and 2010 while performing on her Fearless Tour and later explained that it’s her lucky number.

Plus, Swift pointed out years ago that it took 13 weeks for her first album to go gold, and her first chart-topping song has a 13-second introduction. She won a bunch of awards while being seated in the thirteenth row as well.

The Life Of A Showgirl Film

Regarding the movie event, it’s possible that AMC is involved, since they partnered with Swift for The Eras Tour film. She funded that project herself, spending $15 million and the movie made a whopping $2 million worldwide.

But The Life of a Showgirl film might top that number considering it’s coming on the heels of her album drop, proving further that Swift is arguably one of the best self-promoters in the world.
