Cardi B Expecting Baby With Stefon Diggs Amid Album And Tour Announcement

There’s a lot going on with Cardi B at the moment, both personally and professionally, as she’s gearing up to release her new album after a seven-year wait, she announced a new tour, and she’s having a child with New England Patriots wide receiver, Stefon Diggs.

The Bronx rapper shared the news today, September 17, on CBS Mornings in an interview with Gayle King, saying the baby is due in February. Cardi currently has three children with her estranged husband, Migos rapper Offset, who she filed for divorce from in July 2024 after seven years of marriage. She and Diggs began dating earlier this year.

“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” the 32-year-old told King. “I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

Cardi’s New Album Am I The Drama

Cardi’s debut, Invasion of Privacy, was released in 2018, so all eyes will undoubtedly be on her sophomore LP, titled Am I the Drama? She announced the features for the highly anticipated release this week, which includes Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Selena Gomez, Tyla, Summer Walker, Kehlani, Cash Cobain, and Janet Jackson.

The Atlantic Records signee already released the Jay-Z-sampled single “Imaginary Playerz” ahead of the album, as well as the song “Outside.” She also hosted a pop-up event on Saturday, September 13, at a bodega in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan and drew legions of fans.

The Little Miss Drama Tour

Cardi announced her Little Miss Drama Tour this week on top of that, which kicks off on February 11, in Palm Desert, California’s Acrisure Arena, and it’ll end on April 17, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. It’s her first tour in six years, and she’ll be playing in other cities like Chicago, Las Vegas, Austin, Philadelphia, Vancouver, and Toronto.

Tickets will go on pre-sale Tuesday, September 23, but those interested will need to sign up no later than September 21, at 10:00 p.m. PST to purchase them. A link can be found on Cardi’s Instagram page.

As for Diggs, she gushed about him during her interview with King, saying they’re a solid match because they think alike, and their careers are in the same place.

Cardi said they inspire each other as well, telling King, “I feel like we’re really great and one of the best at what we do … We’re never, like, comfortable. We just have to keep going, and that’s just what we are.”
