3 Taylor Sheridan Shows Rule Paramount+ Ahead of Landman Season 2 Premiere
Heading into the first weekend of October 2025, three of Taylor Sheridan’s popular Paramount+ original series are in the top 10 of the streamer’s global charts.
According to data from FlixPatrol, Sheridan’s various series continue to be a viewership juggernaut for Paramount+, with three different shows currently ranking in the #7, #4, and #2 spots on the platform.
Since Sheridan has an exclusive deal with Paramount+, he has cemented himself as an authoritative and signature voice of the streaming brand after the enormous success of Yellowstone. With many more seasons and new series to come, Sheridan’s dominance on Paramount+ appears to be one of the safest bets in all of television.
Sheridan Continues To Dominate Streaming Charts After Landman Season 2 Trailer
At the time of writing, three separate Sheridan shows – Lioness (#7), Yellowstone (#4), and Tulsa King (#2) – are all among the most-streamed shows on Paramount+ heading into the weekend. Tulsa King, starring Sylvester Stallone, is currently in its third season, while Yellowstone ended last year but has an upcoming sequel series, The Madison, releasing in 2026.
Sheridan’s current rankings on Paramount+’s viewership charts arrive on the heels of two major developments regarding two of his biggest series. Lioness was just recently renewed for a third season and is expected to be released in 2026 as well, while the highly anticipated trailer for Landman season 2 dropped, which is arriving in mid-November.
Sheridan’s absolute dominance on Paramount+ is no surprise, considering that he essentially created his own genre of modern television, featuring western themes and elements of comedy, drama, romance, and action thriller. What is surprising, however, is that Landman season 1 isn’t making more of a push on Paramount+’s streaming charts ahead of its season 2 premiere.

In the same vein, Mayor of Kingstown, yet another Sheridan series, also hasn’t cracked the top 10 on Paramount+ in October 2025, although its fourth season premiere is just weeks away. One would think that Kingstown and Landman would be more popular than Yellowstone at this point, or Lioness, which will not release any new episodes in 2025.
Regardless of how the chips stack up, the bottom line for Sheridan is that he has continued to play a winning game with a level of consistency that is unparalleled in television right now. Plenty of TV creators and showrunners build a legacy over time, but he’s one of the very few who seems to be doing it all at once and living out every TV writer’s dream.
Only a handful of prolific TV creators, like David E. Kelley and Ryan Murphy, have kept up as rapid a pace as Sheridan has with his series. Until the streaming charts dictate otherwise, there’s seemingly no end in sight to Sheridan’s dominance on Paramount+.
